rain's coming - in sydney 2007
Rain concert report time! Except it's not actually a report, I'm too lazy 8Dv How do people remember all those things anyway? XD I'LL LEAVE THE DETAILS TO THEM.

My phone camera is only 1.3 megapixels or something dodgy, so most of my pics suck D8 My friend hasn't sent me hers yet so I'll rip random pics off soompi >D You'll be able to tell which ones because they'll be MUCH BETTER QUALITY, LOL. Rollover the images to see what they say~
Ah yes, Rain concert on Saturday ♥ *still a little giddy about it all* I was close enough to see the sweat drip off his chin. The only thing that I was thinking the entire time was "Oh god he's right in front of me omgomgomgomgomgomg". It all seems so...surreal.
Some highlights off the top of my head, since I'm not coherent enough type a full report :Dv
The concert was supposed to start at 7pm, but it started half an hour late and our legs were pretty much dying by then XD I got there at around 4:30pm to stand in the line, but a lot of the fangirls actually either camped out there or got there way earlier in the morning, even though the gates only open at 5:00pm O_o Crazyyy.
Took that on Central station :D JUST BECAUSE. Random old pervy man kept looking over my shoulder and bumped me so the 2nd pic is blurry >_>
A lot of fangirls actually came from Hong Kong O_o I heard some Hong Kong fangirls flew in to Sydney for this concert? Wtf.
His talk sections ♥ In his first one, he thanked us for coming...IN ENGLISH :D He did all his speeches in English, and everyone was like OMG<3 XD It was so cute, and he had this American accent. He was like, "WHAT'S UP AUSTRALIA??" and wiped his brow going "Whoo, so hot!" I can't remember what else he said, but I think it was just more teasing and making us scream louder :P OH, and he said a lot of effort went into his concert and that his dream concert's finally come true <33
He did that sunglasses thing he always does XD I think he let us go after 3 screams though. And his hair = so cute. It's starting to grow back from the whole shaved-ness, so it's all floppy and it just looked really....cute :D
I can't believe this girl managed to get that exact moment I'm describing >D See his finger? Follow his finger down to the left hand corner, that's pretty much where I'm standing 8D
The "In My Bed" performance = most amazing thing ever. Because Rain was 2 metres away when he came around the runway area, and us A-grade fangirls started screaming louder, and when he looked at us, I jumped up and waved and. Guh. HE SMILED. IN MY DIRECTION. He looked over, smiled his adorable smile, and winked, wagged a finger XD and walked back to the Grade-S people on the right. I think I...died. ♥
He did this "drunken kung-fu" (that's what the banner on the side said) dance sequence and he even pulled out a bottle and everything XD Drunk Rain, ROFL <3
The most hilarious thing was this FANBOY standing behind me XD He kept screaming "Jung Ji Hoon!!!" or "Ji Hoon-ah~!!!" and omg, RAIN HEARD IT XDDD So while he was giving his second talk, Rain turned to us and was fully trying not to laugh.
Second talk section = EVEN BETTER ♥ From memory, what he said was, "All my girlfriends in the past have left me. You guys are the only ones who have stayed by my side. I've always wanted to call you guys/my girlfriends? 'my baby'. DO YOU LIKE THAT? *cue screaming* Uh uh, can't hear you~ DO YOU LIKE THAT?? *Hannah goes deaf*" Oh Rain XD ♥ It was the corniest thing ever, but it was so cute. And he called us his babies for the rest of the concert, and I think it was in this part that he threw his towels into the VIP crowd D8 *envies*
*points to that stage edge thing* He's standing farther back there, that edge is the edge of the lil run way 8D The girl who took that pic was obviously standing like a metre to the right of me in the A-grade area.
I forget what song he was singing because I was too busy trying to take videos on my camera phone without that crazy Korean man screeching, but oh my god. He had a column of water raining down on him as he knelt there on the stage singing. It was so cool ♥
I loved the part where he stood on the stage and did the whole "rain's flying" thing, and a huge set of wings appeared on the screen right behind him, and it looked like he was flying against the sun ♥ ♥
Rain is the BIGGEST TEASE EVER XD He kept half taking off his jacket or pulling up his shirt, and during one of the dance sequences when he was right in front of me, he started slipping his hand up and down in front of his crotch XD I was like, "...O_o...WHOOOO!!!" He licked his finger and then shook his ass at one point too XD
That girl in front of me there had the most awesome camera D8 *envies* HQ plz.
His "How to Escape the Sun" perf was so cool, and "I'm Coming" was amazing. Everyone was waiting for that one, I think, because everyone including me starting screaming when we saw the PV come on the screens. Video of part of "I'm Coming"! :O Except as I said, my phone camera stinks, so I suggest you turn down the volume XD
His third talk section was basically thanking us for coming again, asking "his babies" to always support him and stay by his side ♥, and hoping we'll enjoy the concert :D Something more along the lines of "I'm not sure whether I can do this (and I LOLed so bad here because the fanboy behind me screamed "YOU CAN!!"), but I promise I'll always try my best because of you all." And asking us to support him by buying those red armbands to support children suffering directly or indirectly from AIDS. It was so sad, I wanted to cryyy.
The special effects were INCREDIBLE. The flame shooting out and sparks and everything, it was like right in front of me and I could actually feel the heat on my face. He was so cute at the end, and although my feet wanted it to end, I certainly didn't XDD We were all screaming and waving and he threw us a kiss and disappeared D8 ♥ But the message that came up on the screen about Rain supporting World Vision was so cute. Something like "I go through so much loneliness and stress, wondering whether I can come up with something new every time, but from your support, I find the strength to give you my all"...or something :D So sweet ♥
It was so cool at the end when they shot out all these streamers and confetti straight over the A-grade section ♥ I was scrambling up and caught one of the gold streamers 8Dv Fought off 2 Korean fangirls for it, HAHAHA. *wore it home like a loser*
He finished off with "Instead of Saying Goodbye" and did his final bows and stuff ;~;
I've got more videos and pictures, but I'm lazyyy XD It was seriously the best thing ever for my first concert, though ♥ Best $70 I've ever spent in my life.
I think I might've got onto some official photos/korean tv type thing, too O_o There were a bunch of Korean photographers and press people, and there was at least 2-3 photos with my face right in the middle and I started waving and smiling and the media guy who was filming swung his camera towards me XDD Smiling's probably an understatement, actually. I was grining like an IDIOT 8Dv
